Breathing Yoga Meditation and Yoga Series Spring 2015
One of the results of meditation practice is the transformation of self-preoccupation into inclusive, open, connected awareness. We can easily go from morning until night engrossed in worries: “What do they think of me? Does he like me? Am I winning?” This habitual state of disconnection leaves us feeling uncertain, afraid, and often exhausted. Practices of ethics, meditation, generosity, and service shift this anxious tendency toward broader engagement and eventually become, in and of themselves, the manifestations of a liberated mind.

Spring is a time of new beginnings. I know that I'm feeling change in the air. Change is a given and meditation is a tool to support us.

We will meet on Thursday evenings beginning April 23rd through June 11th 2015 from 7:15-8:15 PM to learn and practice meditation together. The series will cover meditation basics, anapanasati meditation (meditation on the breath) and an introduction to Metta (lovingkindness) meditation. The non-refundable series cost is $120 payable by cash or check made out to "Barbara Templeton". Please contact me as soon as possible to reserve your spot. Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of the series payment which you may send or drop off at my home. We meet at my home in Redding which is located at 7 Hill Rd. Feel free to call me at 949.338.3793 for more information or to reserve your space. Space is limited. Registration deadline is Wednesday, April the 22nd.
I am also offering a Yoga Series and would love to have you join! Here are the details.....
1. No experience is required-all levels of yoga experience are welcome
2. During this 8 week series students will practice asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques) to provide steadiness, focus and calmness.
3. The series will be held from 6:15-7:30 PM at Breathing Yoga at 7 Hill Rd. in Redding, CT. Classes will begin on Tuesday, April the 28th and run for 8 sessions through June the 16th.
4. The series cost is $160. Payment is due upon registration and is non-refundable. There will be no make up classes. If a student misses a class the cost of the class may be applied toward a private lesson. (see www.breathingyoga.com for private lesson rates)
5. Space is limited and students may register on a first come first served basis-registration deadline is Monday, April the 27th.

The Power of Yoga and Meditation
I am enjoying teaching students one on one and in small groups. Yoga, when practiced for only 15 minutes a day can make profound shifts in your life. Meditation also helps. I have found that 20 minutes of meditation a day makes me a happy and positive person. I hope to see you in one of my classes or a private session where I can design a practice to meet your unique needs soon!

Yoga and Meditation Series 2014-2015
I am teaching a yoga series on Tuesday evenings at my home studio. The class meets from 6:20-7:35 PM and the fee is $18 a lesson. I have room for one more student. Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more info. or to register. No experience is required.
